Palmetto Railways to Host Public Open House Meeting for the Camp Hall Rail Line

Charleston, S.C. (March 5, 2024) – Palmetto Railways will host a public open house meeting to provide an update on the Camp Hall Rail project as it enters the construction phase.
Camp Hall Rail is an industrial rail line that will serve the Camp Hall Commerce Park in Berkeley County, South Carolina. Construction of the rail line is set to begin in April 2024.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the upcoming public open house to learn more about the Camp Hall Rail construction activities and schedule.

Time: 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Location: Cross High School Gym, 1293 Old Highway 6, Cross, SC 29436
Attendees are encouraged to drop in any time to the open house meeting; no formal presentation will be given. Meeting materials will also be posted online the day of the meeting at www.camphallrail.com.

About Camp Hall Rail
Camp Hall Rail is an industrial rail line that will serve the Camp Hall Commerce Park in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The new rail line will connect Camp Hall Commerce Park to the existing railroad right-of-way, near the Santee Cooper Cross Generating Station in Berkeley County. Palmetto Railways will construct, own and operate the rail line, which is expected to open the door to greater economic development efforts to support the State of South Carolina.
