Rail car line-haul, switching and storage
Provides single and dual access short line and terminal switching rail service on our properties located in Charleston, Berkeley, Colleton and Hampton Counties in South Carolina with connections to CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern.
We are the terminal switching provider for all of the South Carolina Port Authority rail-served marine facilities in the Port of Charleston.

Rail car repair
Recognized through the AAR as an Inspection and Repair Facility handling all AAR Rule 1 inspections and repairs.
Provides shop facilities with connections to both CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern as well as mobile inspections and repairs within the Charleston region.
All Carmen performing rail car repairs are qualified Designated Inspectors in compliance with CFR 49 Part 215.11. Welding certified in compliance with AWS D15.1 standards.
Track maintenance-of-way and construction
Provides track inspection, maintenance and construction services for industry track within the greater Charleston area following FRA CFR Parts 213 and 214 compliance requirements.
Inspection services, general maintenance and emergency repair services are available under continuous contract or as a one-time need.
